This does not replace a release review. patella.jpg Patellaquerfraktur seitlich — Hellerhoff. CC BY-SA 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Patellaquerfraktur_seitlich.jpg humerus.jpg Humerus fracture — Ivtorov. CC BY-SA 4.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Humerus_fracture.jpg Preparation: EXIF/XMP (APP1), IPTC (APP13) and JPEG comments removed when present. Compressed JPEG pixel streams remain byte-for-byte unchanged; no anatomical pixels were retouched or generated. The display adds a separate, reversible elliptical SVG/CSS-style annotation; the ellipse denotes a region, not an exact fracture segmentation. Original files are archived outside the web bundle. Original/display SHA-256 hashes are in manifest.json. Image adaptations and associated annotation coordinates retain each source's licence, including ShareAlike for the Patella and Humerus. No endorsement implied. Descriptions are conservative visual summaries. Patellar transverse fracture and displaced humerus fracture are stated in the source descriptions; the remaining morphology and annotation coordinates are provisional visual readings. Clinical validation and final privacy/distribution review remain pending. This is a local preview; these new images are excluded from the default release bundle and have not been added to the App Store submission. 27 October 2026 — Spot the fracture update Active challenge cases: Patella and Clavicula only. Humerus remains archived; it is not offered in this challenge. Image bytes are unchanged. New image-relative ellipses and question text are in fracture-cases.js, with region scoring in fracture-challenge.js. Each ellipse marks a fracture region, not a measured fracture boundary. No hidden hover target reveals the answer before a click. Source descriptions and licences rechecked on 27 October 2026 at the Commons pages above. Patella: source explicitly identifies a transverse fracture. Clavicle: descriptive identification and directly visible displacement only. No AO/OTA codes, surgical indications, or clinical histories are inferred. General learning references: AAOS OrthoInfo, Patellar Fractures; Clavicle Fracture; Fractures (Broken Bones). Case-specific reference links appear after the answer. The CC BY-SA 3.0 patellar annotation adaptation remains available under that licence, and the clavicular annotation under CC BY 3.0. Coordinates are downloadable from the Sources panel. A technical check is not independent clinical validation. The challenge is locally accessible under X-ray and remains opt-in in release packaging until the local review is completed; no submission or deployment made. 27 October 2026 — Two additional spot-the-fracture cases Active cases are now Patella, Clavicula, Olecranon and Fifth metatarsal base. olecranon.png — James Heilman, MD; CC BY-SA 4.0 https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:OlecranonFrac.png https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ Original unmarked PNG, 866 × 637, uploaded 8 June 2016. Source diagnosis: fracture of the olecranon. Description adds visibly displaced fragments, without assigning a more specific classification. PNG text/EXIF metadata stripped when present; original compressed IDAT data unchanged. metatarsal5.jpg — Hellerhoff; CC BY-SA 4.0 https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Pseudo-Jones-Fraktur_19M_-_CR_schraeg_-_001.jpg https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ Original unmarked JPEG, 1534 × 1971, uploaded 18 March 2021. Source diagnosis: pseudo-Jones fracture at the fifth metatarsal base with tarsometatarsal joint extension. JPEG metadata removed when present; compressed pixel data unchanged. No annotations or patient identifiers visible in either selected original. This visual check does not certify upstream patient consent. Both images and their annotation adaptations are available under CC BY-SA 4.0. No endorsement implied. Source links, licence links and downloadable coordinates are available after answering each case. The ellipse is a manual location guide, not a measured or segmented fracture border. Sources verified 27 October 2026. General references: AAOS OrthoInfo — Elbow (Olecranon) Fractures; Toe and Forefoot Fractures. Educational content; independent clinical review remains pending. 28 October 2026 — Website release The four active cases above are now published in the Pathology section of radiovista.app. Earlier local-only status statements are historical. Humerus is not included. Attribution and adaptation licence terms remain in force; independent clinical review is still pending.
